I watched this for the first time a couple nights ago and its probably one of the most disgusting horror films I've ever seen! I like it

it had a cheesiness that makes all 70s/80s horror what it is, part of it's charm i think. very stylistic (neon purple bruises) and some minor flaws like the lack of continuity in the way people turned into zombies but very gross, very bloody and oozey (sp) very deliciously disgusting.

I've only seen the second movie, Evil Dead II, but i enjoyed that quite a bit.
