Donald Trump delivers the news to Arrow and Kinetic about Michelle's resignation and asks someone from Kinetic to help Arrow step things up. Three Kinetic members volunteer and Aaron chooses Surya, who joins his new team out in the backyard only to find that several of them had been hitting the bottle.
In the morning, the teams meet The Donald and his Apprentice Sean at the Hollywood Overlook. Also joining them is Steve Carley, President and CEO of the El Pollo Loco restaurant chain, and Karen Eadon, the chain's Chief Marketing Officer. For the task, each team is to create, promote, and sell a new version of their signature item, the Original El Pollo Loco Bowl. The team that sells the most wins.
Under Aaron's leadership, Arrow develops the "Chicken Tortilla Bowl." Meanwhile, under Heidi's leadership, Kinetic decides to add mango and pineapple on top of the original bowl, dubbing it the "Paradise Pollo Bowl."
Work gets underway on Kinetic's marketing campaign. Marisa makes a couple of suggestions, including putting people on the street in giant chicken costumes. Heidi and the team shoot them all down, but Marisa continues to call Heidi on her cell with other unwanted suggestions.
Arrow puts the finishing touches on their El Pollo Loco store and the doors are opened. As happy crowds really eat up their bowl, a passionate Aaron dispatches Frank and Tim to try and round up some bulk sales.
At Kinetic's store, the reception to the "Paradise Pollo Bowl" isn't as positive as to Arrow's creation. Marisa isn't happy that she is tasked with showing samples to people outside.
The decision to send Frank and Tim out starts to backfire when cars begin piling up in the drive-through line and orders begin to get screwed up. Surya tells Aaron to bring Frank and Tim back in, but Aaron decides to let his sales team keep going. The gambit pays off when Tim and Frank make a 22-bowl sale.
When the numbers come in, Arrow edges out Kinetic by selling over 400 dollars worth of bowls compared to their rival's $313.54. With this win, Arrow moves into the house and Kinetic is forced to live outside in the tents.
An excited Arrow moves into the luxurious mansion while saddened members of Kinetic Corporation descend in confusion on the backyard tent. It only gets worse when they realize how dirty Arrow left the campsite.
For their reward, Arrow goes to Malibu to hear Andrea Bocelli perform a concert for them on the beach. Afterward, Tim sits down at the piano and impresses Nicole with the way he tickles the ivories. Later, they enjoy a fireworks display designed by Pyro Spectaculars By Souza.
Before the boardroom begins, the El Pollo Loco executives tell Trump that Kinetic's marketing was to blame for their loss. The boardroom session then gets underway with a question from Trump: Who came up with the "Paradise" bowl? Kristine admits that it was her concoction but stands behind her fruity creation
Sean chimes in that Arrow did a better job with marketing. Heidi defends her work and Jennifer agrees with Sean. Jenn then throws Marisa under the bus by saying that she had volunteered to run their advertising efforts.
Marisa mentions that the team shot down her idea to have two huge chickens on the intersection. Marisa gets overly heated in her own defense, even as Aaron tries to defend her. Trump has to step in and tell her to take it easy.
Trump goes around the room and asks who was the weakest link. The general consensus is Marisa, who adamantly defends herself and tells Trump that he should fire Aimee. In the end, Heidi chooses to bring back Marisa and Aimee.
Back in the boardroom, Heidi reminds Trump of her past winning record and explains that she brought Aimee back because she was in charge of the drive-thru and didn't make enough sales. Marisa continues to cling to the notion that her giant chicken idea would have saved the team. It doesn't take long to decide that the team is right in its consensus as Trump says, "Marisa, you're fired."
