Amy returns to her team, and Aaron debriefs everyone on what it was like to sit at Trump's side in the boardroom. In the morning, Trump gives the teams their fifth task. Each team will harvest and bottle Sue Bee Honey and sell it at Ralph's supermarkets. The team that makes the most money wins. Trump’s eyes and ears for this task will be Sean, last year’s Apprentice winner.
Arrow arrives at the honey farm, don their protective suits, and get to work. Later in the offices, Surya leads the charge by throwing out a lot of business jargon to talk about product penetration, first impressions, and revenue maximization. It leaves the rest of the team cold.
Kinetic's project manager, Aimee, stays behind with Jenn to work on branding while the rest of the team goes to harvest honey. When they arrive back at the office four hours later, they're disappointed to discover that Aimee and Jenn haven't done anything because they feel they have to wait to name their product.
At the production line, each person has to man a station with each member of Arrow doing a different manufacturing task. Tim can't get the hang of his task and production keeps breaking down. Nicole finds Tim and Frank's constant arguing to be "cute."
When Kinetic arrives at the store, they find that the shelves have not been stocked with their product or that any pricing decisions have been made. While Jenn and Aimee blissfully shop, the rest of the team scrambles to figure out what's going on.
Arrow is more organized at their store and everyone seems to be in-synch, though Aaron appears to take a backseat role, much to the chagrin of his other team members.
Meanwhile, Nicole and Tim leave the store to try and sell in bulk. While they don't have much luck in business, they appear to have better luck in love as they seem very happy spending the day together.
To help pick up sales and generate "buzz," Derek dons his bee suit and marches through the store. This seems to help. Taking his cue, the team starts announcing to customers over the PA system that they can buy honey from Angela, an Olympic gold medalist!
And then it's time for the results. Sean calls Trump, who is away at a motivational seminar he just finished giving in Minnesota. As the crowds scream in the background, it's announced that Arrow made $775.48 while Kinetic sold $836.48, making them the decisive winner.
For their reward, Kinetic goes to the Los Angeles Lakers training center to test their basketball skills and play against some famous players like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar under the guidance of Coach Phil Jackson.
While Kinetic cavorted with the Lakers, Arrow Corporation returned to the tents. In the harsh light of morning, Aaron prepares for the boardroom battle ahead. Surya is especially worried about being a target.
Trump was surprised that Aaron was so quiet when he sat in on the last boardroom session with Kinetic, but Aaron says he has a lot to say now. He believes his team's breakdown came from sales and marketing and lays a lot of the blame on Surya. James also agrees that Surya's jargon and theory didn't translate to good decision making and practical help.
Aimee defends Surya's past performance and states that she's a staunch supporter of him. Trump points out to Aaron how tough and vocal Aimee is being even though she almost got fired a couple weeks before.
Aaron chooses Surya and Nicole to come back with him. Nicole has no idea what she's doing in there, and Trump responds by telling her that Tim is "seriously smitten." Trump asks Surya how Aaron was at sales and leadership, and Surya says he was poor at both. Aaron and Surya get it into and really hammer away at each other.
Trump finally cuts off Surya and Aaron's fight and asks Nicole what she thinks of all this. She lays the blame on Aaron and things get heated again. Aimee steps in and grills Aaron. Sean then asks about the lack of marketing. But in the end, it's a simple decision. "Aaron, you're fired!"
