An infuriated Surya returns to his team ranting about Aaron lying about the role he played in the previous task. Surya tells everyone that he needs to prove himself and wants to become project manager on the next task.
The teams arrive at Los Angeles International Airport to receive their next task. The teams are to work with priceline.com executives to promote Priceline at a Los Angeles shopping mall. There, they are to get shoppers to sign up for a Priceline sweepstakes. The team that gets the most signups wins.
Kinetic's leader Aimee puts Angela in charge of marketing and Muna in charge of tasks. Kristine feels that Aimee's delegations don't make sense because people have to be in two places at once. Derek and Jenn break off from the rest of Kinetic to meet with their mall contact for a tour of the shopping area.
Tim comes up with the idea to have an "incremental sweepstakes" where a new winner is drawn every 20 minutes. Surya delegates specific responsibilities to each of his team members, though his teammates goof on his "anal" management style.
Kinetic decides to auction off their $1,000 vouchers every half hour and to use a tropical theme to entice people to sign up at their kiosk, which is designed by Jenn. Aimee's management style - and her choice to focus on a plastic octopus - is off-putting to Jenn and others.
Both teams work to entice shoppers to sign up. James and Frank wonder where Surya is and it turns out he's off on his own trying to get people to sign up; however, he has limited success. Meanwhile, Heidi and Angela walk the mall to generate "buzz" for their kiosk, but they're met with a lot of blank faces from individuals who only speak Spanish.
Don Jr. joins his father to give out the results. Surya feels his team did "amazing" while Kinetic doesn't say anything when Trump asks if Aimee was a good leader. The results? Kinetic signed up 326 people and Arrow signed up 359 people, making them the winner.
For their reward, Arrow gets private surfing lessons from two of the world's best surfers. When Nicole tries to tackle a larger wave, she winds up injuring her foot, and Tim accompanies her to the doctor's where she learns that she may have been stung by a jellyfish. The rest of the team then heads to Gladstone's to enjoy a beachside lunch. Little does Surya know that the rest of his team believes he had nothing to do with their win.
That night, Tim and Nicole get some alone time in the hot tub. He scoots up close and puts his arm around her. It's not long before they're making out like a couple of teenagers.
Outside in the tents, Kinetic wasn't having nearly as much fun as Aimee prepares her strategy for a tough battle ahead.
In the boardroom, Aimee tells Trump that the team didn't take the Spanish-speaking population into account. Derek says that this is a "red herring," and it all boiled down to Aimee's poor management. Others agree with this sentiment and things really heat up. In the end, Aimee decides to bring Jenn and Derek back to the boardroom with her.
Trump asks Derek why everyone is against Aimee, and he responds by saying that she's not assertive. Don Jr. questions him as to why he and Jenn didn't tell Aimee about the Spanish-speaking issue. Derek replies that "it was obvious." Aimee says it wasn't obvious to her because she wasn't paying attention.
It doesn't take long for Trump to come to the conclusion that Aimee is a poor leader. "Aimee, you're fired!"
