Tim talks to Nicole and Kristine through the bushes after the women return from the boardroom. Kristine and Nicole tell Tim that he "got beat down" by Trump for not being loyal to Nicole. Tim goes inside the house where his Arrow teammates warn him that if he doesn't give 110%, he'll be going home if they lose the next task.
Mr. Trump meets with the teams at Los Angeles Times print facility to give them their next task: develop an L.A. Times Sunday supplement to promote "SmartMouth," a new brand of mouthwash. Two executives from SmartMouth will serve as judges.
Frank pitches Arrow his idea, but Tim cuts him off with his own. Meanwhile, Kinetic decides to do a photo shoot where three different women reveal how SmartMouth helps them throughout their day with Heidi, Kristine, and Nicole serving as models.
Frank and Stefani head out to Pink's hotdog stand and offer "everyday people" waiting in line 250 bucks each to take some pictures for their ad. Once in the studio, Frank directs the shoot, but Tim feels he needs to step in to offer additional direction. Frank pulls everyone aside to say that he thinks their concept isn't working, which completely destabilizes the team.
After a sleepless night of work, James sends Frank and Stefani to the house to shower and get changed for the presentation. Tim, wearing pajamas, realizes he doesn't have a suit and scrambles to get in touch with his teammates so they can bring one back in time for their presentation. To make matters worse, Stefani's phone battery dies just when she needs it most.
Tim's clothes arrive in time for Arrow's presentation to the SmartMouth executives. When Stefani finishes, it's time for Kinetic to show off their hard work. Heidi gives her team's presentation, complete with handouts.
Mr. Trump meets with the teams and the SmartMouth executives to get the results. The executives go over the competing presentations and conclude that Kinetic's was the far superior of the two.
For their reward, Kinetic enjoys a private dinner at the mansion prepared by three surprise guests: Heidi and Nicole's moms and Kristine's husband, who has been ranked as one of the world's top 50 chefs. Things take a turn for the awkward when Tim sticks his head through the hedges to meet Nicole's mom.
Heidi's mom, who is a hospice nurse, is especially moved by her visit since she's wanted to come to Los Angeles for seven years to see her daughter. The visit hits an emotional highpoint in the morning when the Sunday paper comes out and Kinetic shows off their work to their loved ones.
The emotions run another way out in the tents where James and the rest of Arrow realize that this week's boardroom could become a bloody battle for survival.
James tells Mr. Trump that Arrow didn't work well together as a team and had a big argument about Tim's alleged mixed loyalties the night before the task. Trump doesn't feel that Tim would want Nicole's team to win, and Tim jumps on this to defend himself.
Tim agrees with Mr. Trump that their supplement wasn't good and blames himself and James for Arrow's failure. James explains that the team was distracted by Frank's 11th hour freak out. Trump turns to Frank, asking if he should be fired for directing the photo shoot, and Frank denies that he is the reason for the team's loss. Trump then asks Stefani and Frank who they would fire and both say Tim.
Trump says that he can't fire James since he's been a good project manager in the past. He then says he can't fire Stefani since she's not the reason Arrow lost. It all comes down to Frank and Tim, and both men work hard to defend their performances. Trump asks for James's input, and James responds that he prefers to keep Frank on the team. Trump agrees and fires Tim.
