In the upcomming movie "Walk the Line", Joaquin Phoenix plays Johnny Cash, and apparently delivers the performance of a lifetime. The guy even sings himself, rather than having it dubbed over.
Honestly, I've been impressed with this guy ever since I first saw him in "Signs" with Mel Gibson, and then again in "The Village" (also a Shamylan film) I've been very impressed with this guy's potential.
Personally, I can't wait to see this. what about you guys?

I heard about him starring in this movie a while ago. That's cool that he's actually going to be singing the songs. I look forward to seeing it. I think he's a great actor. I loved him in Ladder 49 as well.

Your Welcome!! I watched another movie with him a couple of months back called Clay Pigeons which was really good. He's in another one called The Yards which I'll be watching soon.

I just watched the Village again the other night, and even though I know how it turns out I LOVE the atmosphere in it and his performance especially.
