I know I am late with this recap...please forgive me as I have been laid up with pnuemonia and I just have not felt like getting online for the past week. This will be short and sweet.
Monique - I thought she did an amazing job with the Jive, especially when her foot got snagged on her fringe of her dress and revealed a little more than most people wanted to see. She covered the mistake very well and continued on without missign a beat. This girl gets better and better
Vivica - Don't get me wrong, I like Vivica, but why did she get to do a tango when the other girls did the Jive. Her tango was good, but her diva little attitude and play to the camera is starting to grate on my nerves.
Willa - hated hated hated the outfit. The dance was not much better either. Although she improved over the last week, I found nothing about this dance remotely memorable. Maybe it was the outfit, maybe the stupid little hat....I don't know but I was not at all impressed.
Sara - I thought Sara did a good job this week with her country jive. The outfit was too cute and man was she busting out! I thought she could have provided a little more sex appeal for this song, but I think Sara has improved the most. She gets better and better
Emmitt - I liked his tango. I thought he played the part very well. I don't think he deserved to be at the bottom, especially compaired to Harry, Jerry and Willa.
Joey - I love Joey's enthusiasm. He is always so upbeat. You can tell he is doing a good job. And this week was no different. Although he did break the rules with a small lift, I thought his Jive was fantastic.
Mario - his tango was WOW!!! Hot Hot Hot!!! I know he broke the rules but from what I saw it was not an intentional break in the hold. Looked to me like his parnter was falling and he had to break the hold to cover the mistake. I will say, Mario needs to stop with with lifts and just get out there and dance, like we know he can.
Harry - a little better this week, buuI still think he is too stiff. the problem is the stiffness in his face, not necessarily in his body.
Jerry - give him an A for effort. Jerry is doing much better than I thought, but the cheezy James Bond dance did not work for me. Let's hope after he learns the waltz ext week, the audience will grant him his wish and let him go.
My pick to go home would be either Jerry, Willa or Harry...in that order.
Results........
Surprisingly Will was not in the bottom this week. Harry was sent home and I have to say I cried for Ashley. I felt bad for her. She is such an amazing dancer and each year she gets paired with a goof.....Here's hoping Ashley will get a good partner next year.
