Everyone cheers when Derek and Jenn return to the tents. But more than that, everyone is glad that Aimee is gone. Jenn decides that she'll be the next project manager for Kinetic, and Derek proclaims that she's their "next piece of riff-raff that we want to get rid of before our team can truly excel."
Meanwhile, Arrow has their own issues; namely, Surya. Tim, Frank, and James don't believe that he has what it takes to be their leader and feel that he's getting the credit for all their work. They begin plotting a coup to take over.
The teams meet with Trump, Randal, and two executives from Lexus on ritzy Rodeo Drive to receive their next task: create a special owner experience to introduce their new flagship sedan, the Lexus LS 460. The team that gets the highest customer satisfaction score wins.
Kinetic develops the theme "Come Experience Your Sixth Sense of Luxury." Angela is put in charge to come up with related events, but she hits a blank. Jenn, the project manager, pushes for a go-kart event suggested by Derek, even though the others think it doesn't tie in with the idea of "luxury."
Arrow comes up with the slogan, "Bringing Luxury to a New Level." Surya writes that down on a huge white board along with many other notes that no one seems to understand. Stefani and Frank decide to "step up and take the reigns" and oversee the nuts and bolts they feel Surya is overlooking.
Angela is in charge of designing the signs, and Derek worries that she's going to miss their 9am deadline to have them ready in time for the event. She goes past the time and when the next day comes only half the required signs arrive at the event. Each of them blames the other for this "debacle."
Surya kicks off Arrow's event and feels frustrated because Stefani and Frank have overseen most of the details. Tim tries to show off some of the car's features but he can't get any of them to work because the battery died. Later, they let their guests test drive the car and try out its automatic parallel parking feature.
Jenn kicks off Kinetic's event by doing a grand unveiling of the Lexus LS 460. Unfortunately, she can't follow the TV prompts and stumbles over the entire presentation. Though the crowd is mystified by her spiel, a few attendees do seem to enjoy the go-karts. Next, an "illusionist" shows up to do some card tricks.
Both teams feel they did a great job, but the results don't lie. Arrow receives a total score of 94 out of 100 while Kinetic gets a score of 84, making Arrow the big winner of the day. For their reward Arrow gets to create a new song with Snoop Dogg and his friends. Frank and James throw themselves into some freestyle raps even though they both... well... they suck.
While Arrow raps it up with the D-O-double-G, Kinetic wallows in the tents and begins their strategy for the tough fight ahead. Angela and Jenn know that their battle will be especially hard.
Jenn commends her team for doing a good job, but then tells Trump that her team had some "issues." Trump asks Derek what went wrong with the team's signage. He replies that he didn't have enough time to do a proper job.
Derek admits that the go-karts were his idea, and adds that he's "white trash" and likes that sort of thing. Trump makes him explain what he means by referring to himself in this way. Derek hems and haws until Trump jumps in, saying that this is a terrible way to refer to yourself. "I don't like it... and you know what... Derek, you're fired."
Muna diplomatically names Jenn as being responsible for the loss, and Heidi agrees. Jenn admits that she fumbled her way through the presentation, but says this is not the reason they lost. She feels that Angela and Derek were responsible for the loss. When talk turns back to the go-karts, Jenn grasps to lay the blame on the "creative team" for not giving her better ideas.
Trump asks Jenn if she wants to bring back someone other than Angela. Jenn tries to make a joke about letting Derek be the only one to get fired, but it doesn't get a laugh. Instead, Trump decides he doesn't want to waste any more time and fires Jenn right on the spot.
