So, on this season of Survivor the contestants will be divided into tribes by race (black, white, asian and hispanic). Is this a good thing? It's wonderful to enjoy your heritage, but will this move force some people into thinking they should cheer for their own race, or perhaps avoid cheering for thier own race for fear it will make them seem racist? It will certainly cause a stir, what are your opinions on the subject? Discuss.

I'm really not sure if it is a good idea or not, and quite frankly it makes it difficult to even discuss the situation without people reading something into it......it will be one for the record books if you ask me.

in my opinoin it is only going to last one week like the older women, young women, older men, young men thing did. it's just a CBS ploy to create controversy, shake things up and get people to watch.

Oh man, how can they think this is a good idea? With so much racial diversity in the world right now, this couldn't be a worse idea.

again i'm pretty sure it's just a ploy to capture an audience. nice to see a more diverse cast though.

I would tend to agree with you baby.....this is nothing more than a ploy by CBS to boost ratings. Apparently they have run out of ideas as far as dividing the tribes. This may last for two/three weeks tops but that is about it!
